SUMMARY

This role’s major tasks include in charge of full-set general ledger accounting, month-end & year-end closing and financial statement preparation. This role shall independently complete full-cycle accounting and data reconciliation and provide support for internal reviews and external annual audits. Beyond routine accounting tasks, the incumbent will based on ledger records, build automated financial visual dashboards with Power Query and Power BI, develop standardized financial data models, and deliver analytical outputs to support business decision-making, cost control and profit improvement. Candidates with e-commerce accounting experience are preferred.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prepare monthly standard journal entries and accrue expense invoices.
• Complete monthly reconciliation for bank accounts, intercompany transactions and balance  sheet accounts.
• Compile supporting documents for monthly VAT filings of AU, CA, JP and MX entities.
• Master e-commerce accounting logics for platform revenue, advertising expenses and platform commissions, and complete full-link data reconciliation and ledger matching.
• Independently perform full-set accounting for BBE, AU, CA, JP and MX entities, supporting financial reporting to guarantee authentic, accurate and timely. Also assist with annual external audits
• Unify financial data statistical standards, optimize reporting systems, and develop standardized financial data models to deliver data support for business decision-making, cost management and profit growth.
• Conduct independent on building visual financial dashboards via Power Query and Power BI to realize automatic recurring operational data review.
• Respond to ad-hoc management requests including financial data extraction, special profitability breakdown and data verification.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• 2–6 years solid hands-on full-cycle general ledger accounting experience; candidates with e-commerce finance background are prioritized.
• Proven capability to independently complete full-set accounting, month/year-end closing and full financial statement preparation with solid bookkeeping fundamentals.
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, Power Query and data modeling such as Power BI, able to independently build analytical models and visual dashboards.
• Result-oriented with strong ownership; able to take full independent accountability for all position duties without evasion and possess excellent cross-department communication skills.
• Stable career trajectory with continuous working experience in finance and accounting roles.

EDUCATION & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting
• Data Science with capable of converting complex financial theories into data-driven logic and delivering actionable business insights.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with sharp numerical sensitivity.
• Competent in explaining complex analytical results to stakeholders from various departments and levels.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Candidates holding Intermediate Accounting Qualification Certificate or above are preferred.

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Fully proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; expert command of advanced Excel functions and bulk data processing.
• Skilled in Power Query for mass financial data cleaning, consolidation and aggregation.
• Able to independently conduct data modeling and build visual financial dashboards with Power BI; prior experience in developing standardized financial analysis models is a plus.
• Experienced in mainstream financial ERP systems including SAP and UFIDA U9; familiar with e-commerce backend data export and reconciliation workflows.
