Job Description:
Job Responsibilities
Lead accounting tasks including:
Month end close procedures (profit and loss/balance sheet reconciliations, external reporting etc.);
Audit coordination and completion across multiple jurisdictions;
Liaising with external financial statement preparers across multiple jurisdictions;
Tax obligation management across multiple jurisdictions;
Budgeting/forecasting;
Oracle migration project
Enhancing financial system capabilities;
Drive process and procedure improvement (including enhancing control environment); and
Executing other Finance initiatives
Additional responsibilities include:
Developing and providing leadership/oversight to the Financial Accountant;
Driving improvement of accounting support schedules;
Monitoring and improving control environment;
Assisting in executing strategic plans; and
Constructing, presenting and providing commentary on reports to senior management.
Job Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy, Business Administration or other related fields
Professional accounting certification like CPA will be advantageous
Proactive, hands-on individual with strong ownership and accountability.
Strong technical expertise in financial and management accounting.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide strategic business insights.
Effective presentation and communication skills, including the ability to engage senior management.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
