Work Hours for Part-time Automotive Technician/Mechanic
- Tuesday 11AM - 5PM
- Wednesday - Friday 9AM - 5PM
Responsibilities for Part-time Automotive Technician/Mechanic
- Change batteries.
- Test drive cars.
- Change oil.
- Connect vehicles to OBD-II diagnostic equipment to identify and troubleshoot faults.
- Safely pull cars on and off racks.
Requirements
Requirements for Part-time Automotive Technician/Mechanic
- Some basic auto tech/mechanic experience and/or auto tech school is preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and staff.
- Able to prioritize tasks and handle urgent repairs.
- Works independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, accountable, and professional.
- Tools not required but if you have some that is a plus.
Physical Requirements for Part-time Automotive Technician/Mechanic:
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor operational environments.
- Ability to use tools and mechanical equipment safely.
