Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Pay Rate: $14.00–$16.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative will support patients and healthcare providers by managing patient intake, verifying insurance, processing orders for durable medical equipment (DME), and coordinating equipment setup and deliveries. This position serves as an important connection between patients, doctors, clinics, and insurance providers.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient intake and verify insurance coverage, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private payers.
- Process equipment orders, create delivery tickets, and schedule equipment setups.
- Educate patients on the safe and proper use of medical devices.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and clinics to obtain required medical paperwork.
- Handle billing questions, collect co-pays, and process payment information.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or returns.
- Maintain accurate records while following applicable safety and privacy standards.
