Senior Technical Delivery Specialist

Come find your spark at Quartz! We are looking for a Senior Technical Delivery Specialist to join our Business Capabilities team in supporting system configurations and upgrades within Epic. This position will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and implementation of technical solutions and services that create measurable value for the organization. This position will coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful deployment of products, managing stakeholder communications, and providing expert guidance throughout the project lifecycle. This role will ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, customer satisfaction, while continuously identifying opportunities for process improvements and technical enhancements.

• Starting salary is based upon skills and experience: $93,000 - $116,200 plus robust benefits package

Responsibilities

Project Delivery and Quality

• Leads the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of complex technology and digital initiatives by developing work plans, roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Oversees project dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions by coordinating mitigation activities, escalating barriers, and maintaining delivery continuity.
• Ensures project deliverables meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and organizational standards by incorporating quality reviews, testing, validation, and governance checkpoints, throughout delivery.
• Applies established SDLC, Agile, Kanban, and other delivery methodologies to improve predictability, efficiency, quality, and successful project outcomes.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Engagement

• Partners with business, technology, operational, and leadership to translate strategic objectives into executable initiatives, coordinated plans, and measurable business outcomes.
• Facilitates alignment among stakeholders with competing priorities and objectives by clarifying responsibilities, resolving issues, and maintaining focus on organizational outcomes.
• Communicates initiative status, risks, issues, accomplishments, decisions, and business impacts to stakeholders at appropriate levels to support transparency and informed decision-making.
• Lead change management activities associated with technology and data implementations by incorporating adoption strategies, stakeholder communications, training coordination, rollout planning, and post-deployment support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business management, or related field with 4+ years of IT project or service delivery management experience, overseeing complex IT programs and multiple stakeholders across functional work
  • OR associate degree in computer science, information technology, business management, or related field with 7+ years of project or service delivery management experience, overseeing complex IT programs and multiple stakeholders across functional work
  • OR high school equivalency with 10+ years of project or service delivery management experience, overseeing complex IT programs and multiple stakeholders across functional work
• Must have:
  • Healthcare experience with Claims systems, Epic systems, or similar systems
  • Experience with delivery and collaboration tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and Confluence
• Strong communication skills with leadership abilities to guide diverse teams
• Expertise in project management and organizational planning
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
• In-depth understanding of enterprise SDLC (design, build, test, deploy)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Deep understanding of outcomes-based work, metrics, and reporting dashboards
• Understanding of CMS regulations and submissions (HEDIS, STAR, EDGE)
• Experience working with external vendors including negotiation skills
• Certification in one of the following: PMP, PMI-ACP, Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Scrum Master (CSCM/PSM), Change Management, or equivalent certification

Hardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
