Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support digital platform initiatives involving Optical CMS or Directus CMS. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements gathering, solution scoping, backlog management, sprint planning, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and UAT coordination. The Business Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, developers, and QA teams to translate business needs into clear and actionable requirements and ensure successful delivery of solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct requirements analysis and solution scoping to define project scope, priorities, and deliverables.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and maintain the product/project backlog, ensuring requirements are prioritized and well-defined.
• Work closely with technical teams to support MD (man-day) estimation and delivery planning.
• Support sprint planning, sprint management, and backlog refinement activities.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather requirements, clarify business needs, and align expectations.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible and accurately implemented.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including requirements specifications, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, and other relevant documentation.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test preparation, execution, issue tracking, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Support business stakeholders in validating delivered solutions against agreed requirements.
• Identify gaps, dependencies, risks, and issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
• Ensure effective communication between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support continuous improvement of business processes, requirements management, and delivery practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5–8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Mandatory: Experience working with either Optical CMS or Directus CMS platform.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Proven experience in solution scoping and requirements definition.
• Strong experience managing product/project backlogs and writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with MD (man-day) estimation and delivery planning.
• Hands-on experience supporting Agile/Scrum sprint management and backlog refinement.
• Strong experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirements discussions.
• Experience coordinating UAT activities and managing business stakeholder sign-off.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
