Salary:
Utility Service Worker I: $17.72 - $22.595
Utility Service Worker II: $18.77 - $23.93
Performs work in the construction, renovation, modification, installation, and repair of streets. Performs construction, pipe installation. Performs semiskilled work in maintenance of stormwater curb inlets and baskets in the Stormwater Division. Performs lead and skilled work in the operation of storm inlets and storm baskets; may oversee unskilled employees. Is required to work in adverse weather conditions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Utility Service Worker I:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate. Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions. Six (6) months of experience in road construction, building construction, masonry, or related experience desired. Valid Florida Driver’s License required.
Utility Service Worker II:
High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and two (2) years of experience in Public Works maintenance and construction repairs of stormwater inlets, curb inlets, and baskets repair; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or higher required.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
