Avanade is growing, and we seek motivated and engaged technology professionals to join our Managed Services team delivering continuous value to our client’s businesses.
We are seeking a Power Platform Support Engineer who can provide technical support across Microsoft Power Platform, with emphasis on Power Apps and Power Pages. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to resolve application issues, support configuration requests, investigate platform issues, and deliver low-to-medium complexity fixes and improvements across active client environments.

Core to the Role
Provide day-to-day Power Platform support across client environments, including Power Pages websites, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, integrations, authentication, security, and environment reliability.
Analyse client issues and requests, then translate them into support actions, application changes, configuration updates, integration fixes, or technical remediation activities.
Prepare and maintain technical design documentation, configuration guides, test scripts, support runbooks, service updates, and stakeholder engagement materials.
Support release management activities, environment readiness, solution deployment validation, configuration changes, patches, rollback planning, and release-cycle testing.
Develop and maintain low-to-medium complexity Power Pages components, Power Automate flows, Power Apps changes, Dataverse configurations, and platform improvements across supported solutions.
Build simple guides, support notes, test plans, release updates, and knowledge articles for clients, end users, and support teams.
Support service governance adoption, including ticket prioritisation, SLA commitments, documentation standards, knowledge management, access controls, change controls, and shared services processes.
Use Power Pages, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Platform admin centre, Microsoft Entra ID, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Liquid templates, Web APIs, and Azure services where appropriate to support delivery and issue resolution.
Track incidents, ticket trends, application issues, flow failures, platform outcomes, service outcomes, and client feedback, then recommend continuous improvements.
About You
You are an experienced Power Platform support professional with the ability to translate application, portal, integration, security, and configuration issues into reliable support outcomes. You have a strong understanding of Power Pages, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, authentication, web development, integrations, testing, release support, and support requirements across live client environments. You are comfortable engaging with clients, application teams, integration teams, service teams, and end users to deliver support services that are robust, practical, and aligned to business outcomes.
Professional Skillset
Strong working knowledge of Power Pages, Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Platform administration, solution management, Microsoft Entra ID, web technologies, integration patterns, and support processes.
Experience supporting live Power Platform and web application environments, deployment operations, client issue resolution, technical testing, release support, service delivery, and operational improvements.
Ability to investigate Power Pages defects, authentication issues, Dataverse configuration problems, flow failures, integration errors, performance concerns, and environment-related support issues.
Ability to create technical specifications, configuration documentation, test scripts, support runbooks, technical notes, release notes, and support artefacts.
Confident facilitator with experience running workshops, triage sessions, support status meetings, technical walkthroughs, and stakeholder briefings.
Understanding of Power Platform support governance, service management, SLA commitments, ticket prioritisation, knowledge management, documentation standards, change control, and release-cycle basics.
Secondary working knowledge of Dynamics 365, Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, Microsoft Entra ID, APIs, data connectors, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Liquid templates, and Microsoft cloud integration patterns.
Strong communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, documentation, configuration, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Education and Experience
5+ years’ experience supporting Microsoft Power Platform, Power Pages, business applications, live client environments, application support, or solution delivery roles.
Experience supporting Power Pages websites, Dataverse solutions, Power Automate flows, SIT, end-user coordination, UAT, go-live activities, ticket resolution, and managed services programs.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, business systems, engineering, cloud computing, software development, or related field.
Candidates must be Australian citizens and be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance. Existing Australian Government security clearance is highly regarded.
