The OpportunityAs a Tax Innovation - Data Solution Architect - Director, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth within our Tax practice. You will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis, developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.
As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. You will translate the vision, set the tone, and inspire others to follow, driving business growth and shaping the direction of client engagements. You are expected to be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are foundational to our success. You will cultivate the potential in others and actively team across the PwC Network, leveraging our collective strength.

Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing scalable data infrastructure and systems to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis
- Developing and managing data pipelines, integration, and transformation solutions to support client needs
- Leveraging advanced technologies such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform to enhance data architecture development
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and strategic data solutions
- Promoting technological advances and fostering environments where people and technology thrive together
- Identifying market gaps and converting opportunities into successful outcomes for the firm
- Cultivating potential in others through mentorship and leadership, aligning with PwC's values and brand
- Validating data integrity, security, and compliance within analytics frameworks
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to shape engagements and drive business growth

What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 9 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain
- Demonstrating proficiency in data architecture development and data engineering platforms
- Utilizing Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Azure Databricks for data integration
- Managing data quality and validation processes within Snowflake Data Warehouse
- Leading strategic questioning and systemic thinking in complex projects
- Promoting innovation and embracing change in data-driven environments

The salary range for this position is: $150,000 - $438,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
