Cash Services have a role in keeping the Bank safe, managing our money well, whilst supporting our customers and other tīma (teams) to deliver on our promises, every day, consistently.
You will be super organised, love numbers and patterns. You will benefit from being part of a small tīma, as part of a larger organisation who cares about its customers, people and what that can offer you as your career progresses.

This is a permanent, full time opportunity based in Auckland. This is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two days where you can work flexibly.
Anchor days in the office are currently Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday however, these may be subject to change.
What are the day-to-day tasks the person will complete?
- Daily reconciliations of suspense accounts.
- Communications - both written and verbal with key stakeholders and our suppliers - asking questions to understand.
- Investigation of Discrepancies or Customer Claims.
- Reporting using Excel or other tools, project delivery and analysis activities where required.
- Support the wider Operations tīma and Bank.
What is the tīma culture and environment like?
We are a small tīma who focus on working hard, delivering results, and having fun along the way. We take our role and supporting our customers seriously and being able to rely on each person to speak up and recognise when things don't feel right is important to us. Our tīma tag is 'Never a dull moment in cash' as no two days are the same.
What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity?
Being able to pivot as necessary to support with delivery of the team’s strategic ambition. Being able to mahi in 'the grey', to see patterns within the data and knowing what tools will help you find the answers and give clear guidance.
What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?
Continuous improvement to our processes, keeping our Bank safe through good risk practice and help solve investigations.
What specific Tech skills are required to be successful?
Comfortable using a range of technology tools, including Excel, and quick to learn new systems and processes.
