Cash Analyst

We're looking for a Cash Analyst to join our international Finance team based in Sofia, Bulgaria. This is a hybrid opportunity where you'll play a key role in cash management, financial reporting, and forecasting while collaborating with colleagues across multiple countries.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial accounting, reporting, cash flow forecasting, and compliance activities. You will support statutory reporting, audit, tax, and treasury-related activities while ensuring effective financial controls and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculation and posting of month-end close journals and other accounting journals as required.

• Reconciliation of designated Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet accounts.

• Completion of month-end postings and analysis of variances against budget and forecast.

• Maintenance of lease register and ensuring compliance with IFRS 16 requirements.

• Supporting preparation of statutory accounts.

• Assisting with inventory provisions and other operating cost calculations.

• Production of ad-hoc analysis, schedules and reports.

• Preparation of weekly, monthly and annual cashflow forecasts.

• Processing weekly supplier payment runs.

• Bank Postings.

• Liaising with suppliers and auditors.

• Supporting VAT, corporation tax, budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Maintaining customer credit limits and Finance purchase orders.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar.

• 5+ years of Finance functional experience

• Experience in Cash management/Treasury operations.

• SAP or ERP experience.

• Advanced Excel statutory reporting;

• Statutory reporting

• VAT and Corporation tax.

• Budgeting and Forecasting.

• Extensive account reconciliation abilities.

• Team player with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff across departments and countries.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with ability to express ideas effectively through data or presentation.
