AP Accountant

About the Role & TeamAre you familiar with accounting and would like to became member of a friendly, international team? We are looking for an AP Accountant for the META Region to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaWhat You’ll Do

• Invoice processing within the agreed SLA and ensuring timely payment, ensuring accuracy with coding

• Processing vendor invoices within IDCs system (D365) for the META Region
• Processing employee expense reports within IDC’s systems (Certify etc)
• Responding to vendor and employee telephone, Teams and email inquiries
• Preparing data requested by internal and external auditors
• Auditing expense reports prior to release for payment
• Preparing weekly payment runs for invoices, ad hock payments
• Familiarity with SOX regulations
• Supporting in calculating accruals for month end
• Interfacing with various departments within IDC

 

What You Bring

• At least 1 year work experience in AP accounting at an international company or a degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field
• Positive and team-oriented attitude
• Experience with D365 will be an advantage
• Professional English for daily use with colleagues and suppliers (B2+)
• Professional Arabic for daily use with colleagues and suppliers from the META Region will be a significant advantage
