Description
Union Park Capital is a private equity firm based in Boston, MA. The firm has a highly refined buy-and-build strategy focused solely on lower middle-market Industrial Technology companies. Companies in this target sector provide products and services that are utilized in technical, application specific industrial environments.
We pursue equity investments of between $10 million and $50 million, generally focusing on businesses with $10 million to $75 million in revenue. The investment strategy focuses on under-managed businesses in fragmented markets where we can partner with management teams to cultivate businesses through a combination of organic growth and careful strategic add-on acquisitions.
Union Park Capital is seeking an Analyst to participate in all aspects of the investment process – aiding origination, execution, and portfolio management activities. This is a unique opportunity to break into the fast-paced world of Private Equity where you will gain firsthand experience while being coached by a collaborative team of experienced investors.
Analysts will cultivate long-term relationships with seasoned executives to conduct primary research and evaluate prospective industries – ultimately yielding high quality, proprietary deal flow for new platform investments and add-on acquisitions to portfolio companies. Origination efforts will concentrate on key project initiatives in industry segments and deal types. In addition to origination, the analyst will provide assistance in deal analysis, including business diligence, financial modeling, and valuation. Analysts will apply their sound analytical skills as measured by the ability to analyze a business and succinctly communicate the key attributes of the company, the opportunity, and the risks.
