Job Overview:
Reporting to the VP Enterprise Business Continuity for the firm, the Business Continuity Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting the enterprise business continuity strategic vision and initiatives. The Senior Business Continuity Analyst will contribute to, and provide hands-on support for the development, implementation, and ongoing evolution of the Firm’s comprehensive enterprise business continuity programs. The person in this role will lead efforts in translating program requirements for the business unit resiliency partners into actionable activities to establish or improve business continuity processes and controls, including business impact analyses, risk assessments, resiliency testing, quality reviews, supplier resiliency and crisis management.The person in this role is expected to work and communicate effectively with partners at different levels across all business units to assess resiliency risk, and to produce routine and ad hoc resiliency reports.
Responsibilities:
- Support and contribute to Enterprise Resiliency policy, strategies, plans and playbooks.
- Establishes working relationships with key business partners to understand business processes and provides support and hands on execution to drive Business Continuity Lifecycle activities such as the development and maintenance of business unit business continuity plans and execution of plan testing.
- Contributes to resiliency training to support firm preparedness.
- Executes program controls to detect resiliency risk issues, documents risk, recommends corrective actions and mitigating controls.
- Upon demand, ad hoc which may occur after business hours, supports event response, management, and crisis communications in response to actual or potential business disruptions as they surface.
- Supports the creation, implementation, testing and execution of crisis response plans and playbooks.
- Provides report and analysis support to Enterprise Resiliency leaders during business interruptions that impact the firm both internally and externally.
- As assigned, develops, and distributes resiliency metrics ad hoc, initiative-based, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management reports.
- As assigned, executes Third Party vendor resiliency risk assessments to ensure they meet the firm’s resiliency requirements.

Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in a resiliency risk, resiliency business controls function, or risk function
- Licenses/Certifications: Business Continuity Certification Designation (MBCP, CBCP, or ABCP or BCI equivalent) or successful attainment of CBCP certification within first 6 - 12 months as a condition of employment,
- Experience using BCP planning and incident management tools (preferably Archer GRC, Everbridge, NC4, GETS/WPS)
