Warranty Specialist

General RV has an immediate need for Warranty Specialists  in Wixom, MI. 

The Warranty Specialist plays in important role within the service team by ensuring payment is received from manufactures due to repairs being made under warranty. With locations throughout the country, our Warranty team reports out of our headquarters and provides warranty processing for all locations.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Partner with store service teams to review warranty work orders for accuracy and bill appropriate warranty providers.
• Ensure warranty claims are submitted to manufacturers while complying to specific manufacturer guidelines.
• Actively monitor claim status to ensure monies are received in a timely manner and identify any outstanding warranty payments.
• You will manage claim shortages from the manufacturer and provide explanation to leadership on why the claim has been shorted.
• Assist in obtaining technical documentation and diagrams from manufacturers on how to complete certain warranty repairs when requested from service teams.
• You will partner with leadership to identify and set production goals around the warranty claims process.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous Warranty processing experience with Auto, RV, or powersports preferred but not necessary 
• Must have strong and proven writing abilities
• Highly developed verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure in order to achieve deadlines.
• Ability to effectively work independently and within a team.

COMPENSATION:

$16 - $17 PER HOUR
