The Project Controls Intern is responsible for assisting the project controls team to execute project control functions on the assigned project, including maintenance of project schedule, cost, performance and risks. Assists in formal and as hoc analyses of project data for presentation to the project management staff in support of the decision-making process and achievement of project goals. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, and posses a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Enrolled in an accredited institution and actively working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or other technical degree.
Travel: 5-10%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Overtime may be required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists in weekly & monthly reporting.
- Assists in progress collection and reconciliation.
- Assists with schedule updates.
- Reviews construction drawings.
- Assists with fragnet development and schedule resource loading.
- Reviews the critical path and assists in evaluating schedule health.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
