Product Engineering for Valves and Valve Actuation plays a pivotal role in this effort, collaborating closely with eight manufacturing sites and four technical centers worldwide to deliver high-performance solutions for both traditional and hybrid powertrain applications.
Eaton’s Mobility Group is currently seeking a Product Engineer, to join our global Valves Product Engineering team. In this role, you will work on technically complex projects with demanding performance requirements and ambitious timelines, contributing to the development of innovative valve and valve actuation solutions for leading automotive manufacturers worldwide.
Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package based on applicable skills, knowledge and experience, and aligned with internal and external market practices. The annual salary range for this role is EUR 43.600 – EUR 63.910 gross per year.

## What you’ll do:
- Join a multicultural, cross-functional engineering team developing valvetrain technologies.
- Design, analyze, validate, and industrialize valvetrain components from prototype through serial production.
- Ensure component functionality, durability, manufacturability, and compliance with customer requirements.
- Translate customer specifications into engineering deliverables, validation plans, and development activities.
- Act as a technical interface with suppliers and OEM engineering teams across Italy and Western Europe.
- Support prototype builds, prepare technical documentation and engineering reports, and present results to customers and Eaton leadership.
- Contribute to system design, validation, and the development of products across Eaton’s portfolio, including eMobility solutions.
- Track project progress and report activities to the Engineering Manager and Chief Engineer.
- Travel up to 30%
## Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ideally 3–5 years of experience in product development, preferably within the automotive industry.

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027.
