The Role: Senior Specialist, HR Business Partner (EBSC) 

 

The Senior Specialist, HR Business Partner serves as the dedicated HR partner for the Entegris Business Services Center (EBSC). This role partners closely with leaders, managers, and employees to support business objectives through talent acquisition, workforce planning, talent development, employee engagement, and employee relations. 

The incumbent acts as a trusted advisor to management on people-related matters and drives HR initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and business performance, while collaborating with COEs and HR teams on broader HR programs and processes. 

 

What You’ll Do: 

• Partner with EBSC leaders and managers to provide HR guidance and support on people-related matters. 

• Support workforce planning discussions and hiring strategies to meet current and future talent needs for EBSC. 

• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including interns and international hires, from requisition through onboarding. 

• Support talent management and development initiatives, including talent reviews, succession planning, career development, and learning programs. 

• Coordinate and drive employee engagement activities, including survey action plans, focus groups, town halls, and communication initiatives. 

• Conduct fact-finding, interviews, documentation, and follow-up actions for employee relations cases. 

• Advise managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, performance, attendance, and workplace issues. 

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience and compliance with company requirements. 

• Support Workday governance through accurate HR transactions, data maintenance, reporting, and process compliance. 

• Participate in HR projects, process improvement initiatives, and change management activities that support business and organizational objectives. 

• Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of HR programs and processes. 

• Perform other duties and projects as assigned. 

 

What We Seek: 

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.  

• Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience or HR generalist support.  

• Familiar with Malaysian employment law, practices and statutory requirements.  

• Experience in a shared services and matrix organization is an advantage. 

• Knowledge in RBA will be an added advantage.

• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence managers at different organizational levels. 

• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into HR solutions. 

• Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive employee matters. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret workforce data and identify trends. 

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (Workday preferred). 

• Collaborative, adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
