Role overview
Our client builds artificial intelligence solutions for the buy-side, helping investment firms apply AI to their research, investment and operational workflows.
They are hiring a Senior Sales Executive in New York to grow their client base among buy-side firms. This role suits a seller who knows how asset managers, hedge funds and other investment firms evaluate new technology, and who can hold credible conversations about where AI fits in an investment process.
What you will be doing:
- Win new buy-side clients for AI-driven investment technology.
- Engage portfolio managers, research teams, operations leads and technology decision-makers.
- Run consultative sales cycles, including demos, pilots or proofs of concept where relevant.
- Translate AI capabilities into clear outcomes for investment teams.
- Build and manage pipeline, and forecast accurately.
- Share market feedback to help shape product direction.
What you will bring:
- A record of selling technology, data or analytics to buy-side firms.
- Understanding of buy-side workflows and how investment firms adopt new tools.
- Confidence discussing AI and machine learning use cases with technical and non-technical audiences.
- A relevant network across New York's asset management or hedge fund community.
Nice to have:
- Experience selling AI, alternative data or research technology to investment managers.
