Area Sales Manager - Benelux

As part of its international expansion, our client, a French company that develops solutions for the photovoltaic sector, is seeking its future Area Sales Manager for the Benelux region.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for driving the commercial development of your territory. Leveraging your business development mindset, you will identify and approach potential customers, particularly photovoltaic installers and distributors, convincing them of the value of the company's solutions. You will build strong, long-term partnerships with customers and business partners based on trust and sustainable performance. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and commercial negotiations through to contract signing.

With strong analytical skills, you will develop a thorough understanding of the dynamics of your markets. You will continuously monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs, providing reliable and relevant reporting to support management in making strategic decisions.

Operating in a fast-evolving industry, your adaptability enables you to work effectively in multicultural environments and engage with a wide range of stakeholders. You will tailor your sales approach to each customer's challenges, define appropriate commercial strategies, and organize your work autonomously by prioritizing activities to achieve your objectives.

Finally, your interest in technical products and your curiosity will enable you to quickly understand the specificities of industrial equipment and deliver a credible, value-added sales approach to your customers.

Your Profile

You are, above all, a business developer. Opening new markets, creating opportunities, and turning prospects into long-term business partners is what drives you every day.

You have at least 5 years of experience in B2B business development, managing complex sales cycles, ideally within the photovoltaic, renewable energy, or a similar technical industry.

You are equally comfortable building commercial relationships and understanding technical solutions. You know how to listen, influence, and establish lasting relationships based on trust with a wide range of demanding stakeholders.

Self-driven and entrepreneurial in your approach, you enjoy working in an international environment and managing your business independently. Handling multiple markets simultaneously and building a sustainable commercial presence are challenges that motivate you.

You are fluent in both English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in one of the languages spoken across the Benelux region is considered a strong asset.
