CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY: School Psychologist / LSSP (1099 Independent Contractor)

COMPENSATION
- Competitive contract rates commensurate with experience, paid per agreed terms.
- Engagement contingent on a background check clearing you to work in public school settings.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
- Conduct FIEs and REEDs for students (ages 0–18) referred for special education evaluation
- Contribute evaluation findings to the development of IEPs
- Consult with teachers, parents, and community agencies on intervention strategies
- Attend ARD committee meetings to support appropriate placement decisions
- Produce accurate, timely evaluation reports meeting district and state requirements
- Track and submit billable hours through QuickBooks
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in School Psychology or related field
- Active Texas LSSP licensure
- Demonstrated experience in psychological assessment of children and adolescents (0–18)
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Skilled with standardized test instruments, diagnostic software, and special education management platforms
- Strong, defensible report writing
- Reliable, professional communication (we collaborate via Slack, email, and Zoom)
- Comfortable with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
PRACTICAL NOTES
- Some travel to campus sites within your service area
- Light lifting and transport of test materials
