About the team:
The Exterior Services team is dedicated to maintaining Walmart properties through expert landscaping, irrigation system installation, and exterior upkeep. Team members operate specialized equipment and manage their locations to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. They perform routine and seasonal maintenance, troubleshoot irrigation systems, and support facility functionality. Emphasizing quality and safety, the team collaborates to deliver consistent results that enhance the environment for associates, members, and visitors. Their commitment directly contributes to the appearance and performance of Walmart facilities, supporting a well-maintained and welcoming atmosphere across all locations.
What you'll do:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation system components to ensure optimal exterior system performance.
• Perform seasonal irrigation system maintenance, including winterizing and spring start-up procedures.
• Operate heavy machinery, vehicles, and specialized tools safely during routine and complex maintenance tasks.
• Respond to work orders, prioritize assignments, and document activities using electronic devices and written reports.
• Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and trailers to ensure proper working condition and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with managers, coworkers, and external partners to meet service expectations and timelines.
• Support facility exterior maintenance, including snow and ice management, to maintain safe conditions.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation system components including controllers, valves, piping, and heads.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery, vehicles, and specialized tools safely and effectively.
• Skilled in troubleshooting irrigation systems through pressure testing, trenching, and equipment adjustments.
• Strong knowledge of seasonal maintenance procedures such as winterizing and spring start-up.
• Competence in using electronic devices to complete work orders, update logs, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Commitment to following safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with managers, coworkers, and external partners.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs and facility requirements.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...
