Description

The VIG in Downtown Phoenix is hiring and we are looking for energetic, passionate, and hospitality-driven individuals to join us!

If you love great food, great drinks, and creating memorable guest experiences, we want to meet you!

Key Responsibilities:     

• Follow prep lists to chop, portion, and pre-assemble menu components.     

• Prepare bulk sauces, dressings, soups, and tavern signature items.     

• Label, date, and organize all prepped items using the FIFO (first-in, first-out) method.     

• Receive, inspect, and put away inventory deliveries.     

• Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace and clean prep equipment.    

• Prepares bulk recipes, chops vegetables, portions proteins, and organizes incoming inventory to set the line cooks up for success.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of being a prep cook, dishwasher, or other kitchen role in full service restaurant 

• Minimum age is 18

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, working in hot and wet environments, and lifting, pushing, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
