Job Description:
This job is responsible for working closely with Human Resources (HR) Analytics and Data Governance to deliver workforce reporting and analytic solutions through advanced consultation. Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining reporting, analytics, and data governance capabilities and processes to meet evolving demands beyond standard product offerings. Job expectations include engagement, adoption, satisfaction, and delivery of reporting and analytics products and services, while ensuring governance around HR data.
The HR Analytics & Data Governance Consultant I will support multiple LOBs and reporting workstreams. Accountable for engagement, adoption, satisfaction and delivery of the reporting and analytics products & services for their client group, while ensuring rigorous governance around HR data.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Strategic Analytics Forecasting Leads, Finance and HR team to understand headcount movement and strategic initiatives, reporting gaps, and ability to create strategic reporting solutions including automation and standardization
- Serves as a strategic partner and support to Strategic Analytics Forecasting Leads, providing workforce insights and reporting that influence planning, hiring strategies, resource optimization and is reviewed weekly with Enterprise leadership
- Supports a variety of Line of Business or functional area needs for Human Resources (HR) analytics, reporting, and data governance to assist senior leaders and business partners in making effective business decisions
- Identifies and resolves employee data related issues within the business, minimizing risk to the organization
- Creates and enhances standard reporting deliverables to aid in delivery of high-impact presentations and analysis
- Develops and enhances data management tools, queries, and processes including automation of data mining and analytics supporting HR reporting
- Creates strategic reporting solutions and monthly reports/dashboards
- Evolves current analytical framework to support stakeholders to identify new or emerging risks from HR data
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with data and analytics tools such as MicroStrategy and Alteryx
- Strong attention to detail with hands-on experience maintaining or updating large-scale datasets or systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across outputs
- Proven ability to translate data into strategic insight and influence decision-making
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, Word, PowerPoint, intermediate + Excel skills (ability to query for data extraction, mining, and manipulation)
- Strong performance consulting skills, including the ability to identify risk by asking the right questions, developing a comprehensive understanding of business issues and priorities and using expertise to analyze / diagnose problems and give recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, teamwork, and collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with HR or Finance organizational structures
- MicroStrategy, Workday, Tableau, and Alteryx experience is a plus
