JOB PURPOSE

 

• Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst I.
• Senior Business Systems Analyst I will be responsible defining and mapping the scope of Business Systems projects.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements by working closely with healthcare business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams. 
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and system design documents. 
• Utilize SQL to perform data analysis, data validation, root cause analysis, impact assessments, and support UAT activities. 
• Collaborate with business users, developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 
• Manage and track requirements, defects, enhancements, and sprint activities using Jira and Confluence. 
• Perform gap analysis, workflow analysis, process mapping, and solution recommendations for healthcare applications and reporting systems. 
• Support Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, requirement walkthroughs, and release planning. 
• Partner with healthcare operational teams to understand claims, eligibility, enrollment, provider, member, or clinical business processes and translate them into system requirements. 
• Facilitate UAT planning, test case reviews, defect triage, and business sign-off activities to ensure successful implementation. 
• Analyze production issues, identify root causes, coordinate with support and development teams, and drive issue resolution. 
• Prepare executive-ready documentation, status reports, presentations, and business communications for leadership and stakeholders. 
• Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills while working across cross-functional global teams. 

 

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

 

EXPERIENCE

5 -11 years of exp on Business System analyst role.

 

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Must have

• Requires Bachelor’s degree/Master’s in Computer science or Information systems 
• 5-11 years of total experience on Data Analysis, Data Mapping, Data Mining, Data Visualizations, SQL, address questions based on data findings  
• Strong Communication (Ability to talk to all levels of business (SME to VP))

Desired

• Healthcare domain knowledge, subject area expertise (2-3 areas preferred like Claims, Member, Provider etc.)   
• Experience with agile /SAFe methodology 
• JIRA expert knowledge (Mandatory) 
• Scrum / Kanban Team experience (Mandatory) 
• Story writing 
• Story structuring to support delivery across complex data environment
