Product Marketing Principal Specialist, Seamless Travel (maternity cover)

Summary:

As a Product Marketing Principal Specialist (maternity leave cover) for Seamless Travel, you’ll oversee a selection of strategic products within the portfolio and define how they create value for customers worldwide. You’ll combine market insight, customer understanding, and strategic thinking to shape their positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market approach. Working closely with the wider Product Marketing team, as well as Product, Commercial, and Marketing teams, you’ll help turn innovative solutions into compelling market propositions that support adoption and growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the product marketing strategy for a selection of products within the Seamless Travel portfolio.
• Define and evolve clear value propositions, positioning, messaging, and use cases for each product, ensuring consistency across the portfolio.
• Translate complex product capabilities into simple and compelling customer benefits.
• Bring market and customer insights into product strategy, roadmap discussions, and new product development, and portfolio-level decisions
• Work closely with Product Management to support customer discovery, product feedback, pilot definition, and business case development.
• Contribute to pricing and packaging strategies, including billing models and the articulation of business value.
• Shape and support go-to-market plans in collaboration with the wider Product Marketing, Product, and Commercial teams.
• Develop customer-facing and sales-enablement materials, and play an active role in customer presentations, helping commercial teams position the portfolio and articulate its value effectively.
• Deliver product training and enablement to build knowledge and confidence across the commercial organization.
• Monitor product adoption and customer feedback to assess impact and continuously refine the product marketing strategy.

About the Ideal Candidate:

• Relevant experience (typically more than 6 years) in Product Marketing, Product Management, Portfolio Management (management of a group of products or services), Strategy, or Strategic Marketing roles;
• Good communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills;
• Skill in presenting complex content in a simple and clear way, with a focus on achieving goals and solving problems;
• Ability to work effectively in a changing environment and lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple products, regions, teams, and stakeholders;
• Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy, navigate ambiguity, and influence decisions beyond directly assigned products;
• Proficient English verbal and written communication skills;
• A creative and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to approach challenges from different perspectives;
• Understanding of Airline or Airport business and Amadeus internal network is an advantage.
