The Sales Specialist - Transformer Monitoring System will be responsible for developing and expanding GE Vernova’s transformer monitoring business in Brazil, This role will drive direct and channel-based sales, identify new market opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and execute growth strategies aligned with GE Vernova Grid Solutions objectives.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the transformer monitoring systems business across Brazil;
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities with utilities, industrial customers, EPCs, and OEMs;
- Manage and expand channel partners and distributors, including selection, onboarding, enablement, and performance management;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers at customer and partner organizations;
- Lead the full sales cycle, from opportunity identification through negotiation, contract closure, and order booking
- Collaborate with regional and global teams (engineering, product management, marketing, and service) to deliver customer-focused solutions;
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals in coordination with internal stakeholders;
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to support product positioning and strategy
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting in GE Vernova CRM systems;
- Represent GE Vernova at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows in Brazil.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Solid Experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in power systems, grid automation, or asset monitoring solutions;
- Proven experience developing new markets and managing sales channels or distributors;
- Strong understanding of the Brazilian power and utilities market;
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate commercial agreements;
- Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written);
- Willingness to travel within Brazil as required;
- Availability to travel (over 50% of the time);
- Driver's License type B;
- Preferably live in the state of São Paulo;
- Ability to drive.
