About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant in Lending Solutions Group as part of Commercial Banking. The Commercial Lending Product team at Wells Fargo will support the commercial lending product capabilities across loan origination, loan servicing and loan delivery. The team members will have focused product knowledge for commercial lending products and services offered by Wells Fargo Commercial Bank and Commercial Investment Bank, with a minimum level of technology expertise at lower levels to a higher level of technology expertise at senior levels. The team members in WFI will participate in product activities, to include participating in agile ceremonies like big room planning, reviewing, and analyzing complex strategies for product functionality, making decisions and priorities to clearly direct scrum teams based on business value, strategically collaborating with stakeholders, and creating product level output at all levels. The team will be focused on working with the collocated technology scrum teams to product effective and consistent results. The team will be aligned to work with each of the L3 leads based in the United States and India to provide a consistent product strategy, with each scrum team being self-sufficient in producing results based on the various layers of product guidance.

In this role, you will:

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Commercial Lending, Syndicated Lending, Loan Origination, Servicing, Leasing, or related financial services domains.
- 5+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Loan IQ and commercial lending applications.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end commercial lending lifecycle, including origination, servicing, syndication, and loan accounting.
- Experience supporting or implementing integrations involving nCino, CBOA, Loan IQ, and related lending platforms.
- Strong knowledge of the Loan IQ data model, APIs, interfaces, table maintenance, and data conversion processes.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to analyze complex data issues, perform reconciliations, and validate integrations.
- Experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, user story creation, test planning, defect management, and implementation support.
- Experience working in Agile environments, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives.
- Working knowledge of JIRA, ALM, or similar testing and defect management tools.
- Experience with large-scale technology transformation, application modernization, or data migration initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business, operations, technology, and vendor teams.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver under tight timelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Job Expectations:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, operations partners, and vendors to deliver commercial lending solutions.
- Lead requirements gathering, process analysis, solution design, and documentation for initiatives involving nCino, CBOA, Loan IQ, and related applications.
- Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, Technology Leads, and Operations teams to prioritize backlog items aligned with business objectives and roadmap priorities.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, data quality, automation, and system integration.
- Support end-to-end delivery of integration and transformation initiatives, including requirements, testing, implementation planning, and production rollout.
- Coordinate and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and post-implementation validation activities.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to investigate and resolve complex production issues, data discrepancies, and integration challenges.
- Develop and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, data mappings, and testing artifacts.
- Support data conversion, reconciliation, and validation efforts during platform implementations and enhancements.
- Manage project dependencies, risks, milestones, and deliverables while providing regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Provide functional expertise on commercial lending processes and Loan IQ capabilities to business and technology partners.
- Mentor junior team members and promote Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
