DUTIES: Responsible for leading strategy and roadmap delivery for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) platforms. Specific duties include: (1) Drive vision and roadmap for products built on or integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365; (2) Develop deep understanding of business goals and processes to inform product priorities, capabilities, and improvement recommendations; (3) Understand business and end-user needs and identify and prioritize features to be delivered to meet those needs. Translate customer and business needs into prioritized product backlogs aligned with Dynamics modules; (4) Monitor business, market, and technology trends, including Microsoft’s Dynamics roadmap, to inform product strategy and proactively propose new solutions; (5) Lead product strategy, planning, and life cycle management efforts; (6) Establish product roadmaps and release plans that satisfy requirements and achieve business outcomes; (7) Prioritize and maintain product backlog; (8) Monitor and evaluate product performance and proactively champion value-based product improvements, including analyzing data, conducting A/B testing, and implementing iterative changes to enhance product performance and user satisfaction; (9) Act as the voice of the customer to guide all stages of software development, including user story development, sprint planning, and prioritization of the product backlog; (10) Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, story refinements, and team retrospectives and ensure the team has a clear understanding of priorities and next steps; (11) Analyze feedback from sprint reviews, and other data such as end user feedback and operational metrics, to identify and understand product needs; (12) Approve functionality to be included in sprints and releases; (13) Lead product launch process, which involves coordinating with business functional teams to enable successful product adoption, creating product messaging, training internal teams, and monitoring product performance and customer feedback post-launch; and (14) Ensure alignment and adherence to corporate, financial, and IT standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field and 7 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have each of the following: (1) 36 months of experience owning Microsoft Dynamics 365 product for an organization, including D365 backlog creation and refinement; (2) 36 months of experience understanding complex business problems and interpreting them into Dynamics 365 product configurations and enhancements; (3) 48 months of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing; and (4) 24 months of experience planning work, collaborating on code, building applications, testing functionality, and deploying code to production using Azure DevOps and agile development methodologies. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Full-time, position located in Irving, TX. 5% domestic travel required for onsite business meetings, workshops, and planning in other offices.
