The Team Lead Accounts Receivables is responsible for leading a team of AR & Credit Specialists across cash applications, collections, credit management, order release, and customer accounting activities. The role ensures effective day-to-day operations, timely issue resolution, strong stakeholder collaboration, and consistent delivery against agreed service levels and process standards. The Team Lead also supports team development, process improvements, compliance, and performance management across the end-to-end process.
Where You Make An Impact
Lead and support the AR & Credit team in daily operations across cash application, collections, credit risk, order release, and credit master data activities.
Monitor team workload, priorities, service levels, and performance to ensure timely and accurate execution of AR and Credit processes.
Act as the main escalation point for complex customer, stakeholder, operational, and process-related issues
Oversee AR and Credit performance reporting, monitor KPIs and provide actionable recommendations
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, approval matrixes, audit requirements, and agreed operational standards.
Drive continuous improvement, process standardisation, automation, and efficiency initiatives across AR process.
Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, BPO partner, and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and issue resolution.
Provide coaching, feedback, onboarding, and knowledge sharing to junior, medior, and senior team members
Manage team planning, task allocation, performance follow-up, and development activities in line with business priorities and operational needs.
What Makes You Be the Perfect Fit
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent professional experience.
Adaptability and ability to lead teams through change, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
Previous experience leading projects, coordinating teams, mentoring colleagues, or managing people.
Ability to foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP)Strong understanding of credit risk management, collections, cash application, and order release processes.
Experience in a Shared Services Centre (SSC), Global Business Services (GBS), or international business environment is an advantage.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Fluent English; German language is considered beneficial.
