About the Role
- Within this leadership position, the warehouse supervisor will report to the WH manager and support the 2 divisions daily operations from the warehouse perspectives.
- This position will be responsible for all aspects of warehouse planning and control about the material receiving, picking and kitting and distributing; and FGs shipment etc.
Your Team
- Report to Warehouse Manager and dotted line report Supply Chain Manager • Manufacturing.
What You Will Do
- Administer direct supervisory responsibilities for warehouse personnel including selection, hiring, training, performance evaluations, promotional recommendations and work scheduling.
- Assure high level of data and transactional integrity in the SAP system in order to achieve high levels of inventory accuracy.
- Implement lean six sigma principles and techniques as related to material handling and control.
- Lead the Warehouse team to observe all procedural and documentation requirements to ensure minimal disruption to operations
- Assist the SCM to oversee the Logistics Support operations including in house rework and packing.
- Responsible for all strategic and operational logistics support activities to ensure timely incoming clearance and on time deliveries to customers.
- Manage and co-ordinate for all in house rework and packing requirements between Purchasing and Warehouse, supervise the Logistics Support team to observe all procedural and documentation requirements to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Deplore systematically logistic analysis, identify the problems and propose actions for improvements (flows, packing, packaging, inventory, warehousing, cost,…)
- Implement a strict and systematic stock control in central warehouse, DCs and customers’ on-site buffers (consignments); define the proper management rules with a regular monitoring, proceed for systematic analysis of discrepancy and propose actions for a continuous improvement.
- Set up and improve continuously the receiving / storage / delivery operations procedures in DCs and keep monitoring on process status.
- Ensure warehousing management efficiency: FIFO, inventory accuracy, goods movements, layout optimization,
- Other tasks assigned by the manager.
What You Need
- Integrity.
- B.S. Business Administration, B.S. Engineering or related degree. International Business, and related Planning experience a plus.
- Good at communication Teamwork & Respect.
- 7 years total experience and 3 years supervisor level experience.
- Knowledge of ASRS , WH Automation system ,
- Proven track record in logistics and warehouse, with a Knowledge of customs clearance, duties, VAT and BOI.
- Fluent in English language. Excellent reading, writing, translating, and language skills. Excellent cultural, and customs understanding to manage professional business transactions.
- SAP experience preferred and Good MS office skills
- Mechanical and electronic knowledge is preferred
