Internship – Disputes, Claims, & Investigations
Summer Internships in the Disputes, Claims, & Investigations group work primarily on engagements within a litigation setting. Common engagements include: forensic accounting, fraud investigations, valuation, shareholder disputes, intellectual property disputes, employment disputes, quantification of commercial damages, and quantifying complex insurance claims.
At Stout, you are engaged in real work right away.
As a Summer Intern, a typical day might include the following:
- Assisting in the creation of financial models
- Analyzing financial statements
- Reviewing and organizing documents received
- Performing data entry
- Performing industry and company research
- Performing quality control checks
- Assisting Analysts and Associates in various ad-hoc requests
The Intern will be part of a firm where the culture and exceptional client service is inspired from leadership down.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
- Strong academic record of at least a 3.2 GPA (required)
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Relevant internship and/or extracurricular related experiences
- Strong analytical, verbal, technical, and written skills
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be eligible to work in the US, without employer sponsorship, at the time of hire and in the future.

Additional Information:
The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $32.00/hour (depending on prior work and industry experience, education level, and unique skills). This role is not eligible for bonus or benefits.
