Raytheon’s Optics and Electronic Warfare Hardware Engineering Center is currently searching for Technical Interns to work on multi-discipline teams supporting the design, build, and test of advanced surveillance and defense systems for land, sea, airborne, and space applications. What You Will Do

• Your responsibilities may include support for concept development and prototyping, detailed design and analysis, supplier support, build support, and test support.
• You will work under the guidance of a team lead to understand the technical, schedule, and budget expectations for your tasking.
• You will work alongside other engineers from across all engineering disciplines to collectively achieve success for your program and customer.
• You will receive skill-development training and technical support from Raytheon's network of engineering experts.
• ​You will have opportunities to document and present your work.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session. 
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with PTC Creo CAD software modeling and drafting
• Experience with hardware prototyping or modification
• 3.0 cumulative GPA

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
