Technical Project Manager, Senior Specialist

What You'll Do

• Lead large-scale, cross-functional technology programs that support enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Manage technology-related programs or major technical workstream of a broader program. Ensures that the scope of the projects within the broader transformation or program align with business priorities and that business value is properly measured for prioritization.
• Develops and maintains broad knowledge and awareness of Financial Services industry forces, competition, and trends to assess viability of approaches and strategies to technology-related programs.
• Ensure all steps are taken to mitigate risk and maintains control, compliance, audit, and legal requirements on technology projects. Maintains an appropriate level of technical and business knowledge to support program implementation.
• Drive strategic planning, execution, and delivery across multiple business and technology organizations.
• Develop and maintain program roadmaps, milestone plans, and dependency management frameworks.
• Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making sessions with architects, engineering leaders, and technical stakeholders.
• Translate technical concepts into clear updates and recommendations for executive leadership.
• Partner with stakeholders across enterprise technology teams to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of eight years related business experience. Minimum of four years of technical project management experience required.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Significant experience leading complex technology programs or strategic technology initiatives.
• Strong understanding of software development and technology delivery practices.
• Experience managing programs involving APIs, system integrations, data movement, and cloud-based technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional dependencies, roadmaps, and large-scale delivery plans.
• Proven success influencing stakeholders and communicating with leaders at multiple organizational levels.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Lead, Solutions Architect, or similar technical role.
• Understanding of modern application architectures, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience leading digital transformation or modernization programs.
