Critical Services Technician – Data Center
Location: Viborg, Denmark
Employment: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Working hours: Shift work supporting 24/7 data center operations

We are looking for a Critical Services Technician (CST) to join our team in Viborg.
As a Critical Services Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of critical and non-critical data center infrastructure, equipment and systems. You will play an important role in ensuring reliable operations, maintaining high availability and responding effectively to technical issues and emergencies.
This is a hands-on role where your technical knowledge, problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure will make a real difference.
Your role
You will work as part of a team of Critical Services Technicians, contributing to the safe and reliable operation of the data center around the clock.
Your responsibilities will include:

Operating and maintaining critical and non-critical data center infrastructure, equipment and systems

Performing preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment
-
Monitoring power, cooling capacity and environmental conditions within the data halls
-
Using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage planned and unplanned work
-
Troubleshooting and resolving electrical and mechanical issues quickly and safely
-
Responding to emergencies and critical situations and supporting complete recovery
-
Troubleshooting, documenting and escalating technical issues as required
-
Assisting with planning and execution of corrective work
-
Maintaining accurate facility records, including rounds, preventive maintenance work orders and change management
-
Following strict change control procedures

Completing facility rounds at the beginning of each shift
-
Managing assigned workflow tasks and ensuring timely completion
-
Working with and escorting external contractors while ensuring compliance with critical facility work rules

Participating in the development, review, audit and execution of operating procedures
-
Supporting construction and commissioning activities as directed by the Operations Manager

Participating regularly in facility training programs
-
Working shifts to support 24/7 data center operations and maintaining flexibility to cover other shifts

Following T5 policies and procedures and all relevant Danish safety legislation
What we're looking for
We are looking for someone with a solid technical foundation who enjoys hands-on work and takes responsibility for keeping critical infrastructure operating safely and reliably.
You ideally have:

A technical education or relevant technical training

1–3+ years of experience in a mission-critical environment, preferably
-
Electrical or mechanical certification/licence is preferred

Experience working with electrical and/or mechanical systems
-
The ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical manuals, drawings and sketches
-
Experience working safely and proficiently with hand and power tools

Level I training within 60 days

Level II training modules within 6 months
