The Role
We're currently recruiting for multiple Casual Production Operator opportunities at our Ridge Street site in Bega, NSW.
Join a supportive, safety-focused team producing some of Australia's most recognised cheese products, including Bega Mild, Tasty and Vintage cheeses, shredded and sliced cheese, mozzarella, parmesan and more.
We have opportunities available across permanent night shift and rotating day/afternoon shift patterns, offering a great opportunity to build your manufacturing career in a fast-paced food production environment on the beautiful Sapphire Coast.
Shift Patterns Available:
Permanent Night Shift: Monday to Friday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
Rotating Day & Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday, alternating every two weeks:
Day Shift: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Responsibilities
Operate machinery and equipment safely in line with procedures and standards
Deliver production activities to meet daily and weekly schedules and targets
Perform quality checks and follow work instructions to ensure product specifications are met
Monitor machines and processes, identifying and escalating issues promptly
Support a positive team culture through communication, collaboration and continuous improvement
About you
Strong awareness of workplace health and safety standards
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality products
Clear communicator who works well in a team, shows reliability, flexibility and a willingness to learn
Experience in a food manufacturing environment is highly desirable
Availability to work across the entire shift pattern
