What you’ll do

• Technical Selling: Drive aftermarket growth by focusing on technical selling of comminution aftermarket solutions. You will develop credible ,trial and refurbishment proposals aligned with customer needs, converting technical opportunities into profitable orders. Success means consistently meeting revenue targets and expanding customer partnerships. 
• Customer Support: Provide expert technical advice, recommend solutions, and deliver post-sale support to strengthen customer relationships and add value daily. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. 
• Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with branches and sales teams to identify new opportunities, influence early-stage solution development, and support overall revenue goals. Effective teamwork and communication will be key to your success. 
• Operational Coordination: Manage spare parts lists, supplier quotations, EDR processes, and repair documentation to ensure timely and accurate technical and operational support. This ensures smooth service delivery and customer trust. 
• Travel Requirements: Willingness and ability to travel extensively within South Africa and across Sub-Saharan Africa to support customers and business development activities. 
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bring

Must-haves:

• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related technical discipline with 3-5 years’ experience in mining and/or OEM sales background. 
• Proven technical and practical knowledge of comminution equipment, especially crushers and screening applications. 
• Strong selling skills with a track record of converting technical opportunities into profitable orders through customer engagement and solution selling. 
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. 

Nice-to-haves: 

• Experience working in a customer-focused, collaborative sales environment. 
• Knowledge of operational processes related to spare parts management and repair documentation. 
• Familiarity with early-stage solution development and influencing technical proposals.
• Additional certifications or training related to mining technology or sales.
