Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Software Engineer - Java with strong Java engineering skills, hands-on cloud experience, and practical knowledge of AI-assisted development using Claude.The role will contribute to software development activities involving Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API design, AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, cloud security, PostgreSQL, and relational databases. The position will support the delivery of reliable and maintainable software solutions aligned with business and technology requirements.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop and maintain Java applications using Java 11 or later and Spring Boot.

• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs.

• Work with PostgreSQL and relational databases.

• Support applications deployed using AWS EKS/Kubernetes.

• Develop or support AWS Lambda-based functionality.

• Work with Amazon RDS for application data requirements.

• Apply AWS IAM and KMS within cloud security practices.

• Create, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines.

• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code configurations.

• Use Claude in practical AI-assisted development activities.
