Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Ready in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm panels, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production and warehouse areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, maintain accurate logs, and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas.
• Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
