Job Family Definition:

Drives the implementation of best in class financial systems providing relevant, timely, and accurate financial information for financial planning, decision-making, control and risk management, and internal and external performance measurement. Works with Finance and Information Technology to design, construct, and implement financial and business processes and systems requirements globally such as a new reporting system. Develops design requirements for implementing new systems. Determines type of functionality needed in a new system (e.g., designating the business required documents in implementing a new reimbursement policy). Implements processes and tools that support efficiency initiatives.

Management Level Definition:

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support project teams during the implementation of financial system solutions, assisting with planning, coordination, and execution activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve project issues by root causes, identifying solutions, and driving resolution across cross-functional teams.
• Lead and support cross-functional project initiatives involving Finance, IT, Operations, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of project objectives.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand moderately complex issues and support resolution through coordination and follow-up.
• Apply subject matter knowledge and research to identify and develop the business values opportunities of a given project.
• Work across functions and business areas to articulate issues clearly and collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions.
• Manage project governance documentation and reporting, including tracking issues, risks, decisions, and actions, and preparing executive-level updates and presentations.
• Identify and drive process improvement and standardization opportunities within Finance Systems and related business processes.
• Provide support in mentoring or guiding team members and project contributors as needed.

Education and Experience Required:

• First-level university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Typically 8+ years of experience, at least 2 years of Project Management Experience.
• Proven experience in delivering ERP or Financial System projects

Knowledge and Skills:

• Expert understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Strong experience managing complex projects and cross-functional initiatives
• Strong organizational, planning and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) for engagement with senior stakeholders and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to synthesize complex information and drive solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and strong follow-through.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and team-oriented environments.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and drive alignment across functions
• Experienced of system implementation lifecycle, including testing, data migration, and deployment support.
• Good understanding of financial systems and processes (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Financial Close).
• Familiarity with ERP and financial systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, or similar platforms).
• Familiarity with project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, SharePoint) is a plus.
