Our Airborne RF Electronics Electrical Engineering Department has an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer II. We are looking for candidates to collaborate and coordinate with our manufacturing facility, Program Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to proactively and efficiently resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration. In this role, you will foster a culture of trust, transparency, compliance, diversity, inclusion, and accountability. This position will reside within the Radar Power Production Design Support section that supports the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) program. Location: Plano, TX or McKinney, TX with the ability to commute between both sites.
What You Will Do:
- Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/radio frequency (RF)/power circuitry and interfaces.
- Troubleshooting testsets down to component level to include analog/digital/radio and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces and software.
- Responsible for resolving issues with production line test sets across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Work in a team environment to assure the production and sustainment turnaround time is met.
- Work in a compact range environment or lab environment.
- Analysis of test data of RF products to make sure test specifications are met.
- Reading and interpreting and applying engineering drawings, including assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- A minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience with electronics and electrical circuits as well as ability to isolate failures to root cause.
- Experience with standard engineering lab equipment.
- Experience with digital circuit card troubleshooting.
- Experience with analysis of technical data.
- Experience with schematic drawings to assist in troubleshooting efforts
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain program access is required after start. US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations
- Conduct failure investigations and provide recommendations to address systemic issues and to prevent recurrence
- RF related equipment - Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes and DMM's
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience with fault isolation / troubleshooting.
- Experience with PRISM, SAP, and CMES
- Knowledge of LabVIEW, LUA, C, MATLAB, Python programming languages
- Familiarity with hardware compliance of Raytheon Quality Notes, J-STD-001, and ISO9001/AS9100 standards

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
