Job Description

As a Security Officer Radiographic Image Analysis in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, packages, and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and support efficient operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or property in accordance with site-specific procedures and applicable requirements.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, authorizations, and shipping-related documentation as required by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations to appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter, documenting irregularities and helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
