We are currently looking for a Product Sales Support Specialist based in Slovenia to join our international team. This role involves providing general technical and commercial support to both external and internal customers, including field product specialists, sales managers, and internal colleagues. You will respond to technical questions related to products and their applications. The Team
Avantor’s Product Sales Support team operates across Europe and is responsible for providing comprehensive technical and commercial support to both internal and external stakeholders. This includes answering inquiries from product specialists, sales managers, and other colleagues, managing product quality complaints, and proactively working to ensure customer satisfaction and support sales growth.

This is a full-time, remote position based in Slovenia.
At present, cooperation is also possible on a freelance/independent contractor basis under a service agreement.
What we're looking for:
Required Qualifications
- Fluent business-level English and Slovenian are mandatory.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher. A degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or strong knowledge of laboratory products (chemicals, laboratory consumables, and equipment) is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, product support, or a related customer-facing role is required. Experience in or knowledge of the biopharmaceutical or laboratory environment is considered an advantage.
- Previous experience with SAP is mandatory. Experience with other ERP or CRM systems is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Provide product support to customers and colleagues.
- Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on quotations.
- Proactively sell the assigned product portfolio.
- Cross-sell products from other product lines.
- Manage customer complaints according to established procedures.
- Send samples, quotations, and tender documentation upon customer request.
- Order, record, and track demonstration equipment in accordance with the demo unit management process.
- Distribute brochures and catalogs.
- Update product information in the ERP system.
- Monitor your assigned product portfolio using Qlik View and take appropriate actions.
- Collaborate closely with local, regional, and European colleagues within your assigned product area.
