As a Supplier Leader Real Estate & Space Management, you will join our Building Experience & Excellence (BEE) department, responsible for managing ING's real estate portfolio and facility services.
Within the Service Excellence Team, you will take ownership of the Real Estate & Space Management Service Line, ensuring the effective management of ING Belgium's real estate assets and workplace occupancy strategy while driving supplier performance and service excellence.
Your key responsibilities
Real Estate Portfolio Management
- Define and drive the real estate portfolio strategy in line with ING Belgium's business objectives.
- Lead portfolio optimization initiatives, including property acquisitions, disposals, and workplace transformation projects.
- Ensure accurate valuation and strategic management of owned real estate assets.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to maximize portfolio performance, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
Space & Occupancy Management
- Shape and execute ING's space and occupancy strategy, ensuring workplaces meet evolving business and employee needs.
- Maintain oversight of workplace and occupancy data to support informed decision-making.
- Optimize space allocation across locations to enhance employee experience, collaboration, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze occupancy trends and workplace utilization to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Supplier & Service Excellence
- Act as the Service Line Owner for Real Estate & Space Management, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational excellence.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with strategic suppliers, driving performance, innovation, and value creation.
- Lead supplier governance through Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor customer satisfaction indicators (ESAT/CSAT) and translate insights into tangible service enhancements.
- Manage supplier performance, including risk mitigation, escalations, and corrective action plans where required.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure services consistently meet business expectations and support ING's workplace ambitions.
We are looking for
A proactive and collaborative professional who enjoys taking ownership, driving improvements, and delivering results in a complex and evolving environment. You bring strong stakeholder management skills and are comfortable influencing decisions across different levels of the organization.
You also have:
- Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management, real estate management, and/or supplier management.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Professional proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.
