Description
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and growing Bradshaw Home's business across assigned regional grocery and strategic customer accounts. This role owns the development and execution of customer growth strategies while delivering revenue, profitability, distribution, and category expansion objectives.
The Regional Sales Manager serves as the primary business owner for assigned grocery retail customers by developing strategic customer plans, building strong relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and leading cross-functional execution. Success in this role requires independent ownership, strong analytical capabilities, proactive communication, and the ability to translate customer needs into profitable business growth.
Responsibilities
Customer Business Ownership & Growth (25%)
- Own the overall business performance for assigned customer accounts.
- Develop annual customer business plans aligned with company and customer objectives.
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue, profitability, distribution, assortment, and promotional effectiveness.
- Develop and execute strategies to win line reviews and expand market share.
- Identify competitive opportunities through pricing analysis, assortment optimization, and category insights.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of customer strategies, competitive landscape, and marketplace dynamics.
Financial & Commercial Management (20%)
- Deliver assigned revenue, gross margin, and profitability objectives.
- Monitor business performance against budget and forecast.
- Identify risks and opportunities early and develop action plans to address performance gaps.
- Manage promotional investments and trade spending to maximize return on investment.
- Partner with Finance, Demand Planning, and Sales Leadership to maintain accurate forecasts and business planning.
Customer Leadership & Relationship Management (20%)
- Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple levels of assigned customer organizations.
- Establish Bradshaw Home as a strategic business partner through category leadership and customer-focused solutions.
- Lead customer business reviews, line reviews, and ongoing strategic discussions.
- Effectively negotiate business opportunities while balancing customer needs with company objectives.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to proactively identify opportunities and address challenges.
Strategic Planning & Category Leadership (15%)
- Utilize POS data, Circana, customer data, and internal analytics to identify trends and business opportunities.
- Develop fact-based recommendations supported by category management principles.
- Analyze assortment productivity, pricing, promotional effectiveness, and competitive positioning.
- Build customer presentations that communicate clear recommendations and actionable growth strategies.
- Continuously monitor marketplace trends and competitive activity to identify emerging opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution (10%)
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Operations, Finance, and Demand Planning.
- Ensure alignment and execution of customer initiatives, new product launches, promotional programs, and line review commitments.
- Maintain accountability for timelines, deliverables, and execution quality.
- Effectively communicate customer priorities across the organization.
Professional Leadership & Continuous Improvement (10%)
- Demonstrate ownership, initiative, and accountability in all aspects of the business.
- Operate independently while exercising sound judgment and decision-making.
- Communicate proactively regarding opportunities, risks, competitive activity, and customer developments.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer performance, internal processes, and business results.
- Foster collaboration by sharing best practices and supporting teammates when appropriate.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of progressive sales experience within the consumer products industry.
- Experience managing regional or national retail accounts preferred.
- Experience with line reviews, category management, customer negotiations, and promotional planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Business Acumen
- Demonstrated ability to manage a business with full financial accountability.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, profitability, and market trends.
- Experience utilizing syndicated data (Circana or equivalent) and customer-specific reporting.

Pay and Benefits:
US$135,000.00 - US$150,000.00 Annually
Final compensation offered will be determined based on a number of job-related factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications. Employees in this role are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits program, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company matching, accrued vacation, floating holidays, and designated company holidays.
