Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (development, infrastructure, security, business, etc.) to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.
Defining project scope, schedules, resources, and budgets, and track and report progress throughout the lifecycle.

Communicating project status, milestones, and key decisions clearly and concisely to all stakeholders, including executive management.
Evaluating existing project management methodologies and processes to drive continuous improvement for team productivity and delivery quality.

You’re a professional who combines technical expertise with exceptional leadership, passionate about guiding teams to success. You understand the importance of acting as a bridge between engineering and business, earning strong trust by maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels. You thrive on charting a clear roadmap even in ambiguous situations and taking the initiative to clear obstacles your team faces. You always keep the big picture in mind while never neglecting the attention to detail required to lead a project to success.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of project management or related experience in the technology industry.
Experience presenting technical and security concepts to non-technical business stakeholders.
Experience in directing cross-functional teams (security engineers, infrastructure engineers, consultants, business departments, etc.) toward achieving project goals.
Fluency in business English communication.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
Information security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, or specific security vendor certifications).
Experience leading projects from conception to delivery in security solution implementations, cloud infrastructure, or complex system integrations.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies (ability to select the appropriate approach based on project characteristics).
Background as a Security Engineer, Security Architect, or Technical Lead (capable of having in-depth discussions with engineers regarding security architecture, threat countermeasures, and network configurations).
Practical experience with modern project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, Smartsheet).
Project management experience in a global or foreign-affiliated company, along with English business communication skills.
If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every “even better” qualification listed above.
