Description
Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) is recruiting for a permanent Cyber Security Consultant to join the Cyber Centre of Excellence, seconded to Tokio Marine Holdings (TMHD), in London. Reporting to the Global Head of Cyber Risk, you will support the development of the Group's cyber underwriting strategy, cyber risk appetite, accumulation management capabilities and broader cyber risk initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cyber specialists across the Tokio Marine Group, helping to shape the organisation's understanding of cyber risk, emerging threats and the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) is working in partnership to support the recruitment for Tokio Marine Holdings, our group head office. This role will be employed by TMK and seconded to Tokio Marine Holdings, offering unique Group‑level exposure within a global insurance organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
• Monitoring cyber threats and the wider cybersecurity landscape, maintaining threat intelligence sources and supporting cyber risk analysis activities.
• Leading the gathering, analysis and production of cyber market intelligence, including authorship of the monthly cyber digest report.
• Contributing to horizon scanning publications, technical papers, cyber market intelligence reports and ad hoc risk analysis.
• Supporting the development and delivery of cyber technical training through the Tokio Marine Cyber Academy.
• Assisting with the development and maintenance of realistic disaster scenarios, single points of failure, and cyber accumulation modelling activities.
• Assessing and evaluating cyber risk and security tools, helping to identify capabilities and promote best practice across the Group.
• Developing cyber subject matter expertise and providing insight into the cyber threat, risk and security landscape to internal stakeholders.
• Supporting the delivery of the Group's cyber strategy and mid-term plan through research, analysis and engagement with global cyber communities.
• Building relationships with cyber specialists across the Tokio Marine Group and contributing to thought leadership and external communications initiatives.
• Producing and maintaining engaging content for the Cyber Centre of Excellence portal and broader stakeholder communications.
What we're looking for:
• A university degree in a relevant discipline.
• Practical experience in cyber risk, cybersecurity or risk assessment.
• The ability to collect, analyse and communicate cyber threat intelligence to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience delivering technical learning, presentations or training to a variety of stakeholder groups.
• A foundational understanding of cyber insurance and cyber risk management.
• Demonstrable relevant professional experience, ideally within cyber risk, cybersecurity, consulting or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and self-driven approach to work.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships across a global organisation.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with Adobe products and consulting environments would be advantageous.
