What will you do?

Understand pallet specifications and modifications necessary for customers. Work directly with the Continuous Improvement and Development team to improve pallet production and ensure daily compliance with quality standards on the pallet production line.

Responsibilities:

· Promote and expand learning and development opportunities for production and quality across all production sites.

· Work to develop production and quality standards for each operator at their workstations.

· Identify gaps in the operator’s skill level to determine the need for additional training.

· Provide in-depth training reports and data to the Continuous Improvement and Development Team to determine future training needs.

· Provide innovative training techniques.

· Perform any additional tasks, including leading other training programs such as new employee orientation, safety, quality, and continuous improvement as assigned by the Continuous Improvement and Development Team.

· Must be willing to be flexible and rotate between various shifts in the operation based on business needs.

Duties Include:

· Willing to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment

· Attention to detail & commitment to quality

· Inspect pallets visually for defects, including but not limited to broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris, and contamination.

· Able to perform pallet repairs for demonstration and teaching techniques.

· Always emphasizes safety.

· May be required to work frequent overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts.

· Performs other duties as required.

Skills

· Must be 18+ years old

· Basic tool knowledge is a plus

· Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.
