What You'll Do
As Project Manager, you will have responsibility for managing commercial construction projects from cradle to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the client's expectations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, financials and overall project performance
- Review and interpret blueprints, drawings and project specifications
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and internal teams
- Manage projects utilizing General Contracting, Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) and Design/Build delivery methods
- Monitor project progress and proactively address issues that could impact schedule, budget or quality
- Provide clear and effective communication with project stakeholders
- Maintain strong organization and attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle
- Leverage experience with self-performed work to effectively plan and manage project execution
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will bring:
- 5+ years of commercial construction Project Management experience
- Proven experience managing projects from start to finish
- Experience with General Contracting, CMR and/or Design/Build
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Experience managing project schedules and financials
- Experience with commercial projects valued at $10 million+ preferred
- Strong background in self-performed construction work
- OSHA 10-hour certification required; OSHA 30 preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A track record of successfully managing multiple priorities and delivering projects
