Certified Nurse Midwife, OB / GYN Fair Lawn, Full Time, Day

POSITION SUMMARY:
In a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment, contributes professional and clinical expertise to assigned patient populations to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Scope of practice will encompass:

• Expert clinical practice

• Expert guidance and coaching of patients and families and other healthcare providers

• Research

• Leadership (clinical, professional, and systems)

PROGRAMMATIC RESPONSIBILITES:

• Provides evidence based comprehensive care for women, including routine obstetric care and management of routine non-surgical care for gynecologic care for patients. Obstetric care includes antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care for pregnant patients. CNM assumes direct responsibility for implementing care plan.

• Participates and/or leads quality assessment and performance improvement activities.

• Acts as a liaison between the patient, family and physicians

• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to assure consistent and appropriate patient care for this patient population

• Works collaboratively with the Medical Director/Chairman and or Collaborating Physician

EDUCATION:

• Board certified and credentialed as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the State of New Jersey with primary focus of education and training as a Certified Nurse Midwife.

• Obtain a New Jersey CDS and federal DEA certificate upon employment

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical practice experience in related field.

SPECIAL SKILLS:
Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and creative problem solving. Participation in pertinent professional and/or specialty organizations preferred. Serve on-call and/or weekend rotations as required.
 

SALARY:

• Salary range: $142,900 - $157,200

• Generous w RVU production incentive.

• Ability to earn up to 5% quality incentive
